I was raised in a large household within the big city of Chicago. It is safe to say that I am no stranger to hectic situations. It is my upbringing that has allowed me to learn and work well in a strenuous environment. While I am able to work well under pressure and can focus amongst confusion, I am goal driven. With a desire to broaden my experiences and learn in different environments, I decided to attend school in a different state within the small city of Terre Haute to attend Indiana State University for Interior Architectural Design. While in the program, the ability to grasp time management skills were essential for academic achievement as I became involved throughout the campus in several extra curricular activities, organizations and jobs. While I am currently working on my MArch and MS.CEE-CM at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I continue to be involved with some of the organizations I was with during my undergraduate career and have further involved myself with organizations allowing myself to be further involved not only within the community, but also professionally and academically.
